SUMMER BY THE SEA

Summer is about long days, warm evenings and having enough time to properly switch off. Whether you want two weeks beside the sea, a return to an island you already love or something completely different, these are a few of our favourites.

The Greek Islands - Life by the Aegean

The Greek islands are hard to beat in summer. The key is choosing the right one. Mykonos for restaurants and atmosphere. Santorini for the views. Antiparos or Kea for something slower. Or perhaps an island you have never considered before. Once we know how you want the trip to feel, we can find the right base and take care of boats, restaurants, beach clubs and transfers around it.

Mallorca, Spain - Mediterranean Summer

Mallorca manages to offer a little of everything. Beautiful coves, excellent restaurants, the Tramuntana mountains and some exceptional hotels make it as good for an active few days as it is for doing almost nothing. Explore hidden beaches by boat, stop somewhere for a long lunch or head into Palma for dinner and shopping.

The French Riviera - A Summer Classic

Some places are classics for a reason. From Cap Ferrat to Saint-Tropez, summer on the Riviera revolves around the water, beach clubs, long lunches and evenings that rarely end early. During the busiest weeks, having the right hotel and arrangements confirmed in advance can transform the experience.

Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat

Lily of the Valley

Château de la Messardière

The Amalfi Coast - Italy by the Sea

Few coastlines are as instantly recognisable. Spend the day on the water, stop for lunch in Nerano or Capri and return to a hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. A private boat is often the best way to explore the coast, avoiding the roads and giving you a completely different perspective from the water.

East Africa - Safari Season

Summer is an exceptional time for safari in East Africa. The Serengeti and Maasai Mara offer extraordinary wildlife viewing, with days spent on private game drives before returning to some of the region’s most beautiful lodges. It also combines perfectly with a few quieter days on the coast or an Indian Ocean island afterwards.
